French Street

This project involved working with a renovated home, the final result being a simple sophisticated contemporary space. AG was brought in to design the front and rear courtyards. Following the simplicity of the home, a simple structured planting scheme was put together.

The main entertaining area was going to be the front courtyard since it was the larger of the 2. This area accommodated a large deck, lawn and paved area. A raised planter with tree located centrally in the paved area broke up the expanse of paving, creating a shady place to sit and protected the front bedroom from the western sun.
